On the heels of SXSW, where The Weather Station was named one of “17 Acts That Stood Out” by the New York Times and one “30 Best Artists We Saw” by Rolling Stone, The Weather Station kick off a headline tour and share the new video for “Impossible.” The “Impossible” video was shot and edited by The Weather Station (aka Tamara Lindeman) and Colin Medley. As Lindeman describes it, “This was one of these late night, half asleep ideas. A sort of child-like play on free will. On the idea of habit, or how much one is controlled by unconscious ideas. Nominated for a 2018 Juno Award for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year, The Weather Station shows Lindeman “rocking out a little without ever losing intimacy or focus, or detracting from the precision and valence of the exceptional poetry with which she stocked her songs” (Uncut).
