THE WEATHER STATION IN PARADISE
As PoB eases into a 2015 ripe with some long-brewing and inspiring projects, we can think of no finer way to inaugurate this New Year than to share the very exciting news that The Weather Station, the spellbinding musical project of Toronto songwriter Tamara Lindeman, has officially joined the PoB family. Stay tuned for more details about the Spring release of her third record, entitled Loyalty and recorded in France in collaboration with Afie Jurvanen (Bahamas) and Robbie Lackritz (Feist). (The Weather Station will be working with our friends at Outside Music on the Canadian release.) Jake just moved to Durham, North Carolina from Oxford, Mississippi, and we’re delighted to have him here, particularly to celebrate the release of his record on Friday, Jan. 30 at 5:30pm at the University of North Carolina’s Center for the Study of the American South in Chapel Hill.
