Michael Chapman, known for his influential and prolific writing and over fifty years of touring, is setting out on the road again starting in late March for an EU tour to celebrate the release of his upcoming album True North. Astonishingly, it’s the first time he has ever toured in support of one of his albums! He will be joined by Bridget St. John (vocals), Sarah Smout (cello), and BJ Cole.(pedal steel), all of whom play on the album.
Later in April, Gun Outfit will join Steve Gunn (who, not coincidentally, produced Michael Chapman’s last two albums) for a string of dates across the US Midwest and South. Both tours will bring rich, atmospheric sounds to speed up the Spring thaw—don’t miss them!
