Here at PoB, we’re big fans of Harvest Records in Asheville, NC, and so we are predictably thrilled that they’re following up their wondrous Transfigurations festival of several years ago with this arguably even more astounding event, Transfigurations II, going down this Labor Day Weekend, August 28-30. So many PoB pals are involved–not least of all Steve Gunn and Hiss Golden Messenger, who are both performing–that it’s going to feel like a family reunion, O’Jays-stylee. The whole PoB crew will be there on Saturday in beautiful downtown Marshall, NC, on Blannahasset Island in the French Broad River–if you bought a weekend pass, you’ll get some surprise swag in your bag from us–so we hope you’ll consider joining the celebration.
