I’ve discussed Wilson’s original “Poor Moon” song, and the meaning behind it, in my bio of Wilson available through BlindOwlBio.com. Wilson was one of the first rock stars to develop a passion for ecology, and before his death, he had organized a nonprofit foundation with the goal of preserving the coast redwoods of California.
